Fall Home Tour

Welcome to my fall home tour!

Fall is by far my favorite season. I love the trend in recent years of using different colors in fall decor than just the traditional organge, red, and yellow. I have been absolutely loving contrasting cooler tones; blue, purple, and teal are my go to right now.

Our porch is the tone setter for the house. I am trying to keep all our holiday decor within limits this year since I’m preggos and tired. Easy to put out and easy to pack away.

I usually like making garlands and adding lots of natural elements. I always kill mums, and fast.  This year, I decided to use some other fall florals and only buy the small cheap mums that met a sad fate the day I became their Mama.

Our porch doesn’t get a ton of light so faux floral pieces that I can reuse make more sense than killing all the plants. Hobby Lobby had everything I needed and all the fall florals were 50% off today.

I added a couple of purple flowers to my wreaths from Home Goods I got last year to spruce them up a bit.

I always love black buffalo print in the fall. I have had these pillow cases for some time and have used them in my summer and fall decor many times. They are a classic pattern that look great with a ton of different decor styles.

I found this bench online, but it’s temporarily out of stock! I got in store at Target last year and didn’t see it on their site until now. I’ll keep my eyes open for it come back in stock.

Moving into our living room, I used more blues and teals and less purple than on the porch. These teal pillows are from At Home Stores and the rest are some I have had over time. I’ll link some to create a similar look.

Our living room is open to our kitchen. I didn’t do much decorating in our kitchen for fall other than some fresh florals.

The mantel is one of my favorite places to decorate. I don’t love our TV large and in charge and would love to build doors to cover it one day. For now, look at the pumpkin goodness not the black box.

The blanket ladder has been very useful to store our throw blankets. I always feel like we don’t have enough blankets! Then they all show back up at once and can be thrown on this ladder.

I have two of the scales below, I move them around and use them year round with different seasonal touches.

I just love this color! I really want to paint our kitchen island using Magnolia Home Weekend, which is a very similiar dark teal.

Our built- ins are painted using Sherwin Williams Urbane Bronze.

I started this year in our dining room with fall decor. The two door, basket wall decor things are from Hobby Lobby. The rug is from Well Woven Rugs called the Mora Ivory Traditional.

Finally, our bedroom got some subtle fall touches with bedding from Home Goods and a handful of pumpkins.

The colors in this comforter couldn’t have fit better with my fall theme. Home Goods always has great bedding!

Target has the best pumpkins! I joked that I won the lottery because I got a ton this year of the good ones. They are popular in Atlanta and hard to come by!

Hope you enjoyed the fall tour and that you are now officially in the fall spirit.
